Children's Ministry

"But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it and how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Jesus Christ."

The Children's Ministry at Grace Church of DuPage exists to glorify God by equipping children to treasure the character and worth of God above all else, through teaching His Word, praying by His spirit and modeling His example.

	Nursery - This service is provided for infants through a child's 2nd birthday.  The purpose of the nursery is to provide child care for young children offering parents the opportunity to attend the worship service.  The nursery service is provided by dedicated and caring individuals.
	Sunday School - Offered for ages 2 through 5th grade.  It combines loving teachers with excellent curriculum to ensure that biblical truths are taught and applied in meaningful and exciting ways.  Sunday School meets from 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM.
	Children's Church - A dynamic ministry offered for children ages 4 through Kindergarten. The thrust of this program is simulate "big church" in worshiping God through songs, a lesson, skits and small groups.  Children's Church meets 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM.
	Declare! Declare! is a unique ministry that meets during the Sunday evening service for children 1st through 5th grade.  The curriculum explores topical issues through teaching, small groups and "hands on" activities.  The Declare! program is highlighted by two musicals each year.
	AWANA - Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed is a program hosted by Grace Church for ages 3 through 6th grade that promotes child verse memorization with parental guidance in the home.  In addition to handbook, game and council times, the children will be tested by a supportive and encouraging staff person on Wednesday nights from 6:55-8:30.  [more]
	VBS - Vacation Bible School meets for one week during the summer at Grace Church. While this program is aimed at outreach, Grace Church children aged Kindergarten through 4th grade are invited to attend and bring a friend.
