KERDOS - College Ministry

Welcome to the Grace Church of DuPage College Ministry. We are thankful to God for each one that has been brought to us, and we hope to cultivate loving community centered around passion for our great King, Jesus. We would urge you to be involved and to use this website to listen to recent sermons, find out information about discipleship groups, consider being a part of our evangelistic efforts, and/or view scheduled events.  In all we do, we are striving for one purpose and one passion.  We invite you to join with us in this pursuit

OUR PURPOSE - to reflect God’s infinite worth by trusting Christ to be our greatest gain.

If you spend some time around a person, it doesn’t take long to see what they value. We are all little reflectors giving off the light of what we love. Does your life reflect the fact that God alone is worthy of your trust? This is what we are seeking in Kerdos and we know we are going to have to fight for it.

OUR PASSION - to fight for our faith and the faith of our neighbor.

We want to learn what it means to live out Hebrews 3:12-12 in the context of our community:

Take care, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil, unbelieving heart, leading you to fall away from the living God. But exhort one another every day, as long as it is called "today," that none of you may be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

So, we invite you to come and join us in the battle. Whether you come into town to go to school, go out of town to go to school, or live in town and don’t go to school (or any other combination we’ve missed), if you are 18-25, we want you to come and join us.  There are lots of ways to get involved.

Sermon Audio & Podcast
This year we will be focusing our attention on the book of 1 Peter. Did you miss a message, want to share it with your friends or just want to hear it again? Click on each title to listen to the mp3 sermon.

Discipleship Groups
Discipleship groups meet weekly, led by our volunteer staff members. These groups provide the relational context we as Christians depend on where faith is fed and fought for and grown.  If you are interested in further information, follow the link below.

Schedule of Events
Opportunities for fellowship abound. We have a lunch almost every Sunday during the school year, a Fall and Winter retreat, and other various and sundry events and opportunities.

Evangelism
Every Thursday night throughout the year we have the opportunity to learn about evangelism and to share our faith on college campuses. Currently, we are focusing our Thursday night evangelistic efforts on COD's campus.  This is a great way to get out of your comfort zone and learn the power of the Gospel of God.  If you are interested or have any questions, email Paul Rupple.

Get Acquainted
The best way to get acquainted with Kerdos is to come on a Sunday morning and join us at 9AM in the fireside room.  We seek to go hard after God in prayer, in the Word and through music. You will also meet some of our staff and students and hear what is happening in the coming weeks. Consider yourself invited!
