Pray for our Soldiers

Please remember to lift in prayer these men of Grace Church who faithfully serve our country. May God bless and protect them as they so willingly serve to protect and defend us.

SGT Les Glinski, of the Army Signal Corps, is currently stationed outside of Khandahar, Afghanistan with the 1/502 Infantry Regiment in the 2nd Brigade of the 101st Airborne Division until the spring of 2011. His wife, Shannon, will be working as a Physical Therapist in Grand Rapids, Michigan until he returns.

Chris has been stationed at NAS Whidbey Island with his wife Michelle and son Nathan since January 2010. He is attached to the Navy’s P-3 support staff, currently as a Quality Assurance Manager. Chris in the past has held positions in the Navy including positions at NAS LeMoore, California, attached to the VA-22 Fighting Redcooks as an Avionics specialist, and at NAS Pensacola, Fl. as an Basic Electronics teacher and in the U.S. Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Team as an Avionics Specialist and Quality Assurance (supervisor).

Jon heeded the call to serve our country and joined the US Army in April, 2003. Currently he serves as a Captain, S1 Adjutant, stationed in Bamberg, Germany. His duties include reporting to the Executive Officer/Major on unit strength, personnel management, morale, discipline, law and order, headquarters management and administration. Jon has served a year in South Korea and was deployed to Ar Ramadi, Iraq from September 2005 until October 2006.
