What is a podcast?
A podcast is an automated way of distributing
audio files to subscribers. We use our podcast as
a way of distributing the sermons preached each week at
Grace Church.
How do I access the podcast?
You can access the podcast by either
clicking the link "Subscribe in iTunes" above or by
searching for "Grace Church of DuPage" in iTunes.
Click the subscribe button. This is a free
service.
Why should I use the podcast?
If you listen to our sermons on a regular basis
the podcast is a convenient way to receive sermons
without having to directly downloading them from our site
and put them into your media player.
Do I have to use iTunes or can I use another
podcast viewer?
You can use other podcast viewers however our
podcast is specifically formatted for iTunes.
If you would like to use a viewer other than iTunes
we have provided the feed URL above. Do view
the feed click the link "View Feed."
How do I get a sermon that doesn't show up anymore on
the podcast?
We keep an archive past sermons on our Online Sermons page
available free for download.
What if I want to keep only the most recent
sermons?
You can set your preferences in iTunes to keep
only the most recent sermons within parameters that you
set. The preferences panel can be found on the
Edit menu (Win) or iTunes menu (Mac).
What if iTunes stops downloading the sermons
each week?
If you do not listen to the podcast for a period of
time, iTunes will stop downloading our podcast sermons
in order to save space on your computer. To
restart the downloads click the alert next to the GCD
podcast entry. |
