“Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is Good!  For His mercy endures forever.”

1 Chronicles 16:34

In our various classes this week, we can see three examples of God’s goodness directed towards His people.  He provided food to the Israelites in the desert, caring for their physical needs while teaching them to trust Him.  He blessed the people with His presence in the Tabernacle, demonstrating His desire to be present with His people.  He made a promise to David and his descendants that there would always be one of their own on the throne.

God’s goodness hasn’t changed!  He is always good and provides for us in so many ways!  As you review the lessons of the week, make your own list of the ways you and your family have experienced God’s goodness!  What a wonderful way to encourage your children, and remind yourself in the process!
